Position: Web Editor

Nickname(s): Jules, Julia Gulia

Fun Fact: I will be a third generation Stagg graduate.

Hobbies: Cooking, writing, composing music, playing music, drinking Starbucks, singing, dancing, acting, photography (I know this is a lot, get over it)

Why I joined journalism and what it means to me: I never thought I would be a high school journalist, much less know that it was an option. Writing and photography were some fun hobbies I picked up in the past, and when the idea of being a journalist presented itself, I saw it as something that I was meant to do. Now I get to run the website and our social media accounts as well as film and produce videos that tell a story. To this day, I have never regretted joining this amazing staff. The walls of A-8/10 have become a place I think of as my second home.

Goals on staff and after high school: While my time on staff is coming to an end, I want to take my skills and knowledge given to me by my predecessor, Jefferson Leiva, and be the best web editor I can. As for after high school, I’m not really sure what my future has planned for me. College is the next thing, whether it’s a junior college or four-year university. I have a lot of interests from music to journalism to teaching, so I guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
