Senior Spotlight- Phlox Keonorasak

“Watch your back I’m lurking.”

Hobbies, Interests, and Passions

  • I love to workout for most of my time and have a part-time job with my family at a family-owned restaurant. I am very fond when it comes to the study of the human body, specifically the brain, and would love to know more!

Extracurricular activities/Clubs

  • My only extracurricular experience in high school would be my sophomore year of football, and it was really fun in the moment but I grew distant as I entered junior and senior year.

Memorable Events from High School

  • I would like to share how fast I do learn sports, cause I really do enjoy sports but I never really liked playing on teams. However, I think what takes people away from sports are lack of motivation or fear of not making teams. Football welcomes anyone as long as you’re willing and disciplined enough to stay in the team. And please don’t fear about joining your favorite sport!

Plans After High School

  • I plan to enter UC Davis after my last year of high school and enter their Neuroscience and Physiology major.

College/University & Study

  • I will attend UC Davis and enter my bachelors in Bio for specifically a career in neurobiology and Physiology.

Most Rewarding Aspect of High School

  • I believe how much I’ve learned from all of my peers has helped shape the person I am, good or bad, I have grown to understand more about the world.

Advice for Underclassmen

  • Don’t be scared to make your own choices because people pressure you!
