Why I joined journalism: I joined journalism because I had a passion for writing since elementary school. I certainly wanted to improve my writing, so I joined journalism my sophomore year. This is where I began to notice growth in my writing. I wasn’t the best writer, but all I know is that I became better with my organization skills and ideas. Soon I could call writing more than a passion.
Goals: My goal on staff is to develop a great bond with my classmates and to look beyond my circle. I also want to gain more experience with photography and take fantastic sports pictures. I plan on attending a four year university and minoring in journalism to continue to voice my opinion on paper. However, my main focus will be to major in mathematics.
