Walk-Off starts Service Week

The third annual Service Week kicked off today with the Walk Off. Senior Brian Walker and English teacher Don Bott went head to head on a course which started in front of the C-wing and ending in the glade.  Walker pulled ahead of Bott at the last minute for the win. Key Club wants to encourage students to bring cans to donate all week to help the club reach their goal of 1,500 cans which will be donated to the local food bank. The week will continue will the events as followed:

  • Wednesday at lunch: Student-teacher Quiz Off
  • Thursday at lunch: Student Stare Off
  • Friday at lunch: Dance Off
  • Friday after school: Teacher Stare Off

Students are welcome to participate in any event with an entry fee of five cans. Each event will have a prize that the contestants will compete for. Students who donate the most cans and participate in the most events will receive a front row seat to the teacher Stare Off which will take place in the library at 3:00 p.m. Students who wish to attend will have to pay an entrance fee of either two cans or $2.
