This is Season 1, Episode 7 of Student Spotlight.
#1 – How did you handle the pace of AP classes?
M – I took a lot of notes while I was taking my AP classes and then leading up to the AP test, I would study a lot every night. It wouldn’t be a lot at a time but it would be a little bit so it built up and I remembered a lot of stuff.
#2 – Are there any tips to studying?
M – I like reading the information and I write it down. I feel like that helps me remember the most, like the repetition of writing it down.
#3 – Which AP class pushed you the most?
M – The AP class that pushed me the most was World History because it was a lot to pack in in such a short amount of time and it was the most information packed class I ever took.
#4 – What was it like balancing multiple AP classes at once?
M – It was stressful but taking the time for each one separately and studying for each one separately made it easier to balance.
#5 – What’s something you think people should know before taking their first AP class?
M – I would say you have to be ready to focus and ready to learn. It’s not just a class you can take to goof off or because you like the teacher. It’s a class you should take because you want to learn more into depth about the subject.
#6 – What’s one more advice you can give to people that are going to take more AP classes continuously?
M – I would say don’t stress out about them too much because it’s not something that you should stress a lot about. It’s only going to benefit you and just take it at the pace you go at and study and just be focused.
