Students Express Themselves

Andrew+Lewis
Andrew Lewis

How do you express yourself? Many students are expressing themselves through art. Students who are artistic have been doing it since childhood. They acquired artistic skills different periods of their lives and are still doing putting them into practice.

Brandy Aguirre, Senior, expresses her skills through artistic drawings, playing the piano, and sculpturing. She learned to play the piano as a kid, learned to draw in seventh grade, and did a few big sculpting items throughout her life time, but she really learned the basics just last year. She is currently working on a commission which is a portfolio of all her work.

Andrew Lewis, Senior, expresses himself through drawing and designing from Photoshop. He said he has been drawing ever since kindergarten. He is working on doing a drawing, and graphic arts project.

Senior Tiffany Pech expresses herself through art, paint, and drawing. She said her whole life she’s been interested in art. She also is working on starting an art organization. Pech has helped create the two murals you see in the hallway and the R-Wing.

Now I leave you with one question: How do you express yourself?
