Stagg High 2023 Homecoming

Stagg High hosted this year’s homecoming on Sept. 22 in the big gym. Many Stagg students attended the dance and quite a few students had different opinions on it.

Sophomore student said “I thought this event was really fun and I enjoyed it.” Another Sophomore student,, agreed with and said “ I felt an overall good vibe between everyone and I think my favorite part was the music because it hyped people up.”

Although she liked the event, there were some things she wasn’t so fond of. “I didn’t like how we had to pay for the food and it was super expensive.” “I (also) wish there were more photo options because the line got really crowded.”

A junior student, Avery thought the event was “boring and dry.” He wished there were more people and he said he “doesn’t think he would’ve missed out on anything” if he didn’t go. Avery went with his friends and they had the same opinion as him.

Sophomore student Rayanna Aguliar, went with her friends to the dance as well but they had a different perspective on it. Aguliar said “I had fun at the dance and I thought the props for the pictures were fun.” Some students might see the dance as a success and some might see it as nothing special but it was still an experience that students had to create memories with friends.
