Why I joined journalism: In middle school, English was always my favorite subject. It wasn’t until I got to high school when I realized that I wanted to make English a part of my career choice. Once I realized that, I decided to join journalism to not only be an active member of my school, but also to have a voice in the student body.
Goals: To graduate from high school, attend University of San Diego, major in English Literature, Minor in Journalism, work towards receiving my teaching credentials, graduate with a Masters degree, and to work as a staff writer for the Washington Post.
