Today marks the 23rd anniversary of the attack on 9/11. On September 11, 2001, two planes high-jacked by the terrorist organization al-Qaeda crashed into the Twin Towers in New York City, leaving thousands injured and killing 3,070. According to USA Today, 40% of those who died have yet to be identified.
In addition, 80,000 individuals were diagnosed with physical and mental health conditions, which shows the damage is still long lasting.
We memorialize this day by having a moment of silence and a prayer for those who unfortunately lost a loved one and for those who passed. We share our deepest condolences for those affected by 9/11.
