ASB held a rally in the big gym during lunch on March 7. Many Stagg students participated, including K-dance, who performed at the start of the rally and got the crowd going.
K-Dance performed one song, ¨Debut¨ by Katseye. One of the performers, Class of 2026 Publicist Adrian Jimenez, said his performance was probably his favorite. He said, “It was so exciting seeing the crowd get hyped up.¨ Jimenez also said “It was really fun to perform for the school.”

After the dance, the rally moved onto their short four games, Mattress Run, Table Surf, Musical Chairs Basketball, and Don’t Drop the Balloon.
“Mattress Run” is where a team has to run one at a time to slide on the mattress and move it to the other side of the gym. “Table Surf” is where you have one person lying on top of the mattress and the rest of your team underneath rolling to get the mattress to the other side of the gym competing against the other grades. “Musical Chairs Basketball,” which is a fusion of “Musical Chairs” and Basketball; and lastly, “Don’t Drop the Balloon” where you have a partner and you have to hit the balloon up in the air back and fort with your teammate and then race against the other teams across the gym, not letting the balloon touch the floor.
They took students out of each grade to go against each other. Freshmen ended up winning at “Mattress Run” and “Don’t Drop the Balloon,” though they lost to Juniors in “Musical Chairs Basketball.” Sophomores won “Table Surf.”

Many students had fun at Stagg’s first rally for the school year 2025. They enjoyed and hope to have more rallies like this. “It was a good way to spend my lunch,” said Sophomore Aylin Sandoval.
Sophomore Allison Anderson also said that “It was worth it and I was surrounded by all my friends.”
