Varsity defending against El Camino after kickoff
Varsity played an intense game against El Camino on Friday night and took the win with the final score being 42-8.
Luis Nolasco, team captain is very confident about this season. “I think we are going to do very well, the sky’s the limit for us. We have a very good team this year.”
We are fast on defense, we are fast on offense, good quarterbacks, good receivers, and good safety linebackers,” Nolasco said. Left-footed junior kicker Delliah Raley scored 6 field goals for Stagg.
Raley, who wears 15, was featured in the Stockton Record for the most female kicks at Stagg. “I was kinda nervous but after the first kickoff I felt better I just needed to stay awake.”
Stagg’s next game will be against Modesto High School held on Sept. 1st, 2023.
