SUSD held a State of the District address in Stagg’s new Agricultural/FFA barn last Wednesday. Superintendent Dr. Michelle Rodriguez delivered a speech aiming to expand enrichment opportunities for K-12 students, push for more CTE programs, improve schools and school facilities, and much more. This echoes Dr. Rodriguez’s “Onward” plan introduced early in July.
Stakeholders such as board members principals, counselors, and professors from several colleges were attendants at this address, along with parents of students and the sheriff deputy. There were performances from students including mariachi bands, poetry readings, and cheer routines from various schools such as Edison, Stagg, Weber, and Franklin.
