Broken sprinklers bring “flood” in main parking lot
Pairs of shoes and pants have fallen victim to the sprinklers by the east parking lot upon arrival at school. Students attempt to hurdle over the massive puddles but fail to avoid getting wet.
Assistant Principal Gamal Salama called the district- as our sprinklers are controlled by them- and they had the problem fixed by last Thursday.
“It just gets so wet,” he said, “especially in areas like the parking lot and the quad because of the the dents in the ground.”
Our custodians are supposed to start filling the holes where the sprinklers are so that the mini floods around campus no longer take place.
“We ask students to report any problems like this around campus,” Salama said.
