As bikers rode to their classes and squirrels ran free, a UC Davis tour guides were showing various Stagg students around the campus, a part of an AVID field trip.
Davis not only has 40,000 bikes on campus to offer, but also has wiener dog races, costume volleyball, tightrope walking, and many other ways to have a great time.
This is one of the reasons that Autumn Saldana, junior, now wants to attend this UC.
“I really like the campus, and it seemed like there was a lot of activities to keep you involved in not only the school, but the campus,” she said.
To add to her newfound love of the campus, she says that the people are friendly and that she would have no problem making friends.
Darren Malone, a sophomore, feels similar, saying that though he doesn’t see himself attending Davis, he is now more excited to go to college, because the environment is much more friendly.
“Davis still isn’t much of an option, but I notices there is more to offer (than high school),” he said. “I saw that there is a lot of people to meet, and new things to discover.”
