We all know that students have to pass Geometry in order to receive a high school diploma. Some students love math, but others can’t stand it. Recently, the testing system has been tweaked slightly. Geometry teacher Judith Tuddao thinks the new testing is better for the students. “They want more students to go to college and prep them for it.”
Junior Kao Vang believes that the reason for the low test scores is because it’s just not working out. “I think the test testing process is a bad thing because there a test, like, each week. They need to give us the time to study because not all of us are good at testing.”
Marilyn Ramirez, sophomore, says, “The testing is OK for me, sometimes the testing can be unfair to some people. I believe they choose this new program to better our test scores and help us pass.” Her ideas for the way they are testing to make sure that we all succeed.
