Club Rush was a time of fun for the students and staff, but it was also a time of business. Clubs of all kinds were out in the glade selling goods and recruiting new members to add on to their legacy. At Club Rush, people were able to browse the booths and see what they can do to join. They had the option to even buy the food that was for sale such as, pocky sticks, pork-buns, nachos, pretzels, doughnuts, ices, Jamba Juice, Lolicup, and lots more. There are more than 20 clubs and each of them brought something new to the glade.
This event was a benefit for the students because it gave them a better variety of food other than the regular cafeteria food. The students of Stagg High seemed to have enjoyed this change of lunch for the day. As the day went by, these clubs made profit and increased in club size.
There was a variety of well known clubs such as M.E.S.A., MEChA, Key club, Anime club, Hmong club, Chinese club and Choir. These clubs were in a rush because they only had 40 minutes to sell their products and win the loyalty of new people. As time ran out, some clubs decided to pack up for the day as others wanted to keep selling everything they could. As soon as the bell rang for 5th period, some clubs were satisfied with what they were able to sell while others were disappointed.
After the ringing of the bell, the clubs had to clean up their station. This was an enjoyable day to all students and staff that had participated. Everyone worked and enjoyed doing things. They felt they did not only do something for themselves but they helped others be more active and less shy. That fun day was club rush, for others it was just a usual day at school.
