On Mar. 27, junior AVID students accompanied by AVID teachers Sandra Ozornio-Caballero and Nicole Churchill, visited UC Merced and Stanislaus State University. Students that are planning on joining the AVID program their senior year also were invited on the trip. Students left campus around 9AM that morning and returned to Stagg´s campus at 4PM. Caballero shares for the future, she would enjoy the opportunity to bring more students into college and University field trips, ¨I would love for more field trips like this to [be available] all students, not just AVID.¨
