Next week, in addition to Club Rush\, there will also be a week-long event called “Multicultural Week” which will last from April 14 until April 17.
This event would be showcasing the different cultures of the world. The event was made by PLUS teacher Shoual Chang who said, “Stagg is a very diverse school.”
What to expect from this event-
For Stagg’s World Tour, people will be dressing up Monday-Thursday.
- Monday: American Colors (Red, Blue and White)
- Tuesday: Tourist Clothes
- Wednesday: Class Colors (9th-Pink 10th-Green 11th-Grey 12th-Purple)
- Thursday: Cultural Clothes & Repping your country’s flag.
Additionally for this event, classes will also be decorating their classroom doors for a competition. Students walking around campus have probably seen that some doors have already been decorated, with each door representing a different country/place from around the world.
For example, Coach Lee’s class has decorated their door with gold coins to commemorate Mansa Musa and Mali.
During Club Rush, each club will sell food that corresponds with that country. About 18 clubs will be participating. Class of 2025 (Philippines) will sell beef skewers and turon (fried banana roll) and Choir Club (Northern China) will sell steamed buns.

Reason-
Multicultural Week was made to represent and highlight the different cultures and diversity around Stagg and the whole world. Chang said, “Culture is really about respecting traditions, respecting differences, and finding the good in people who are different from you.”.
PLUS student Savanna Dupart also shared her excitement, stating how this could help grow and give exposure to current and other culture clubs on campus.“I’m hoping to learn more about other cultures. I think I’m not super up to date with everything, so I’m excited to see all the different cultures,” Dupart said.
