Students if you don’t want to start college with zero units which are credits, sign-up for the AP (Advance Placement) Test.
The test is offered to all sophomores, juniors and seniors. By taking the test and passing it you automatically receive five units. It does not matter what college you apply for, you’re units will follow you through out any college.
American Government, Biology, Calculus, Foreign Language, and US History are the categories that the AP Test contains. If you’re interested in any of these categories you can choose to take more than one AP Test. If you pass all the AP Tests you will receive five units for each test passed.
Senior Laura Gutierrez, said that she might take the Foreign Language test because she wants to know how much she has learned about that language. Gutierrez said, “I think it will help me because I can help others by knowing the language and translating for them.”
