This is Season 1, Episode 2 of Student Spotlight. Whether it’s tattoos or theme parks, Sophomore Sophia Robles loves to express herself through art. Listen to her share her passion and creativity in this week’s Student Spotlight.

#1 Which art projects have you done?

R – For Filipino-American Studies. I’ve done a lot.

#2 Which one is your top favorite out of them?

R – The tattoo one we’re doing in Coach Joy’s class for Filipino-American Studies. 

#3 Can you explain a little more what that is?

R – Basically, we have to put meaning about ourselves into our tattoo, like different designs of the tattoo and then our name.

#4 Do you have any projects that you haven’t finished in a while, but think you are going to finish soon?

R – Yeah, I’ve recently finished an image of Disneyland.

#5 And that’s a personal thing or for class?

R – A personal thing.

#6 How can you be more creative?

R – I feel like you should just put your dreams in it and just go crazy. Be creative and put your heart into it.
