Paying for lunch has been an issue for most students, now only some have to pay. Usually some students don’t even eat at all because they don’t have any money or they just don’t want to waste money on school food. Some of the students use their off campus pass, they just go out to eat other places.
Lately there has been a misunderstanding in free lunch like Senior, Cecelia Mejia said, “Before I used to get free lunch but now I have to pay like 30¢ for every breakfast and lunch I get.” Some students have to pay even more. Another student Senior Sarah Orozco, doesn’t have free lunch even after she received a letter that said she would get reduced lunch.
Students’ parents that bring in a lot of income don’t get free lunch at all. But there are other students’ parents that don’t have a big amount of income and either way they don’t have free or reduced lunch. So the students either pay or bring food from home.

Huh. The same thing happened to me until recently. My mother sent in like four letters requesting free lunch. We don’t make a lot, and paying full price for lunch really sets us back. We eventually got it, thankfully. You just have to be persistant. If you got it in the past, then you should be able to get it now.
