It’s looking like 2025 will be a good year for movies, if these new trailers are any indication. Three trailers have dropped on YouTube recently, each of which offers a glimpse into upcoming cinematic experiences. And while all of them look solid, “How to Train Your Dragon” looks the most interesting because of high quality CGI and being a childhood favorite movie turned to real life. Read more about all of them below.
How to Train Your Dragon
The live-action adaptation of “How to Train Your Dragon,” directed by Dean DeBlois, revisits the cherished tale of Hiccup and his dragon companion, Toothless. Set on the island of Berk, the film explores themes of friendship and challenges long-standing beliefs about dragons.
Mason Thames delivers a compelling performance as Hiccup, based on the few scenes that we see. In my opinion, he captures the character’s inventive spirit and determination.
Nico Parker’s portrayal of Astrid brings depth to the role, while Gerard Butler reprises his role as Stoick the Vast.
While the film stays true to the original storyline, this adherence results in a lack of new plot developments, which may disappoint viewers seeking fresh content
With amazing looking CGI and if the story and actors stay true to their role, then the movie will not disappoint to fans of any age.

Jurassic world Rebirth
Set five years after the events of “Jurassic World Dominion,” the “Jurassic World Rebirth” trailer reintroduces audiences to a world where Earth’s altered climate confines dinosaurs to isolated equatorial regions.
The narrative centers on a covert mission led by Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson), paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis (Jonathan Bailey), and navigator Duncan Kincaid (Mahershala Ali) to extract a pharmaceutical compound from dinosaur DNA. This mission necessitates a return to the original island, blending familiar terrains with new challenges. The trailer seems to have a creepy aspect to it being introduced to a failed experiment that seems to be on the loose giving the people a difficult time.

Fantastic Four
The “Fantastic Four: First Steps” trailer marks Marvel’s latest attempt to bring the iconic superhero team to the big screen. The preview introduces the quartet Mr. Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Vanessa Kirby (vennesa kirby), Johny Storm, (Joseph Quinn) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (the thing) as they navigate their newfound powers and confront emerging threats.
The trailer suggests a modernized portrayal of the team, potentially appealing to both new audiences and long-time fans. Early glimpses indicate high-quality CGI, particularly in depicting the team’s powers.
The movie does seem to have a good comedy aspect to it but also has a very emotional and family aspect to it as well. The team all went through a rough past but still seems to found a way to work well with each other.

With each new preview, expectations rise, and only time will tell if these films live up to their trailers’ promises. One thing is certain, 2025 is shaping up to be an unforgettable year for cinema.
