Final Destination Bloodlines is the sixth and possibly final entry in the series of bloody films featuring creative and deadly accidents. The film released on May 16, and is directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein. In my opinion, it had a well thought out story, but toward the end it felt rushed, as the movie was trying to tie up all the loose ends.
This would be the sixth movie that Final destination would release and is a sequel to the fifth movie. The base of every movie is really simple yet it still keeps you entertained, it is always about a person seeing a bad premonition on how many of them would die. Since they saw a premonition of their death and multiple people, they would prevent it. Death did NOT like this so it would hunt them, the person who had the premonition would look back at it and they would have other visions that give them clues on how other people would die.
The clues are pretty vague but it did give them an idea on how the person died. If you tried to use the clues on how to avoid dying, it doesn’t matter because death would still find a way to kill you that way.

For Bloodlines they do something different, even though Iris Campbell was the visionary she wasn’t the main character, also insteading of just saving a couple of people she saves entire bloodlines, including her own. Death didn’t like this and so slowly it went for all the people who were supposed to die and their bloodlines because they should’ve never existed to begin with. Another way this is unique is that it originally starts with the depiction that it is 1968 but later in the movie it goes back to the present time. It is important to note that during the time Iris saved everybody she was pregnant and it helps tie in how her bloodline was related to her.
The real main character is Stefani Lewis who was Iris’ granddaughter, was having nightmares about Iris’ vision and in order to figure out how to stop them she located her. Iris gives her a book full of clues and ways to prevent death, which was interesting because they never did this for other movies. Stefani could see death, instead of having premonitions, she could predict what was going to happen and even figured out the order death was going after them.
The directors of this movie are Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, Zach has co-directed with Adam before in movies like Freaks (2018) and Kim Possible (2019). They even produced the DisneyXD series Mech-X4 (2016), it was even nominated for the Daytime Creative Arts Emmy.
Kaitlyn Santa Juana was the girl who played the main character “Stefani Lewis”, she is known for her roles in The Friendship Game (2022) and The Flash (2022). She is a fairly new actress, starting her acting career in 2016!
Tony Todd was the guy who played WIlliam Bludworth, who was in the other Final Destination movies like, Final Destination (2000), Final Destination 2 (2003), and Final Destination 5 (2011). Not only is he known for this role but he even played Candyman (1992). Final Destination Bloodlines was sadly his last movie because he died of stomach cancer. He had a line in the movie that was well received by fans, “I intend to enjoy the time I have left. And I suggest you do the same. Life is precious. Enjoy every single second.” It was an unscripted and heartfelt line.
This movie was honestly one of the best Final Destinations and I overall give it a 8 out of 10. It is a very gruesome movie, with a lot of blood so not ideal for kids but it has a very good storyline. I liked how they deviated a little from the basic visionary but yet still kept it as simple as the other ones. I also loved how they tried to be more comedic in this movie than all the other ones! Watching this movie in a movie theater was definitely a unique experience. I would definitely recommend watching this movie, especially if you already have watched all the other Final Destination movies.
