Are you an ordinary dancer or like to watch dance routines? Then you can’t miss this exciting season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ (DWTS) as they celebrate their 10 year anniversary. Since this season will bring back various themes to the ballroom, there will also be a gold mirrorball trophy instead of a silver one. DWTS opens their 20th season on Monday, March 16 featuring 12 stars, 12 professional dancers, two hosts, and four judges.

This TV series welcomes stars from all different backgrounds. You don’t have to be beautiful or skilled to be nominated onto the show, but you must be a celebrity. It is the professionals’ job to teach their partners how to paso doble, or dance.

This season will be totally different because the show will bring back the Disney and Latin Night themes. A new theme, Spring Break Night, will also be introduced. Fans will have the ability to watch six live stream videos from the ballroom and have access to watch their favorite couple in the rehearsal studio live on ABC.com.

Coming into season 20, sergeant Noah Galloway is without an arm and leg due to an Improvised Explosive Device attack. But this doesn’t mean he can’t dance. He still will go out Monday night fighting for the mirrorball trophy just like season 18 double amputee Amy Purdy did.

If you are a fan of ‘Shark Tank,’ you may already know of the famous Robert Herjavec, who stars in this TV series. An immigrant born in Croatia, he first settled in Canada with only a suitcase and $20. Today he is seen as a multi-millionaire with many accomplishments throughout his career.

Willow Shields, an American film and television actress, is another contestant on DWTS. She  appeared in the film ‘The Hunger Games’ and at the New York city Fashion Week as well. Shields will be the youngest participant ever to appear on DWTS at the age of 14.

These contestants described are just a few who come from different backgrounds, a sergeant amputee, a multi-millionaire immigrant, and a young 14 year old actress. To find out which other stars will take on the dance floor, tune in on Monday nights on ABC. I definitely recommend watching this exciting season of DWTS and guarantee you will become an unexpected fan of the dance world.
