NICHOLAS ROSETE: Playing soccer becomes his goal

Some may see soccer as a fun sport to play in their pastime, but that’s not the case for sophomore soccer player Nicholas Rosete.

Rosete grew up very athletic, but he always had an affinity for playing soccer more than any other sport. He has been playing soccer for four years, and never gets tired of it. Niko is an attacking midfielder, and in his spare time he’s a referee in games.

His favorite part of soccer is that he is surrounded by such a supportive group of teammates. Rosete would love to pursue soccer as a career, whether it involves playing, coaching, or even commentating.

He says, “Some people may see soccer as just being a sport, but in reality it’s a universal language.”
